To mark Science Day in Ukraine

On May 14–15, 2026, the Faculty of Audiovisual Arts and Media Technologies of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts will host the ІІІ International Scientific and Practical Conference “AUDIOVISUAL ART AND MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES: Modern Trends and Development Prospects”.

Scientists, practitioners of audiovisual art, postgraduate students, PhD candidates, Master’s and Bachelor’s students are invited to participate in the conference.

Deadline for abstracts submission: May 1, 2026.

The purpose of the conference is to engage participants in the discussion of current issues of the theory and practice of audiovisual art and media technologies.

The conference will feature the following sections:

• Section 1. “World Trends in the Development of Audiovisual Art”.
• Section 2. “Creative Economy and Contemporary Problems of Advertising, Video and Media Art Development”.
• Section 3. “Production, Art Curation and Scientific Practices of the Creative Sector”.
• Section 4. “Photography and Visual Practices: Contemporary Development Trends”.
• Section 5. “Interdisciplinary Practices of Contemporary Art: Integration of Traditional and Audiovisual Forms”.
