On June 1–2, 2026, third-year students of the “Easel Painting” educational programme at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, Oleksandra DENISENKO and Viktoriia PSHENYCHKO, under the guidance of Senior Lecturer Yevheniia NESTIEROVA, conducted a series of creative workshops for 1st–4th grade pupils of Kharkiv Lyceum № 126.
The event was organised as part of the students’ pedagogical practice and within the activities of the KSADA Junior Academy of Design and Arts.
During the sessions, the children had the opportunity to explore the basics of painting and experimental artistic techniques. The young participants created vibrant compositions inspired by the underwater world, imaginary characters, and natural motifs. Through working with colour, shape, and line, the schoolchildren learned to express their emotions freely and develop creative thinking.
The inspiring atmosphere, the children’s genuine interest, and their active participation turned the workshops into a true space of artistic discovery and creativity. For the KSADA students, conducting these classes provided valuable practical experience in pedagogical work, communication with children, and the implementation of artistic and educational initiatives.
