HAPPY DAY OF THE NATIONAL EMBLEM OF UKRAINE!

KHARKIV STATE ACADEMY OF DESIGN AND ARTS sincerely congratulates everyone on the Day of the National Emblem of Ukraine!

On February 19, 1992, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine officially approved the Small State Emblem — a golden trident (Tryzub) on a blue shield. This symbol carries a thousand-year history, dating back to the times of Kyivan Rus, and represents the strength, freedom, and unity of the Ukrainian people.

For Ukrainians, the Tryzub has become a spiritual symbol that connects the past, present, and future. It reminds us of our rich cultural heritage and the ongoing struggle for independence.

The Academy calls on everyone to preserve and honour our state symbols, as they shape our national identity and unite us in our shared aspiration to build the future of Ukraine.
