On February 12, 2026, the Junior Academy of Design and Arts hosted a workshop and role-playing game titled “Your Career in Media”.

The event, attended by approximately 40 participants, was led by Zoya ALFOROVA, Doctor of Arts, Professor, and Head of the Department of Cross-Cultural Practice Methodologies, alongside Andriy KAROEV, a first-year Master’s student of the “Audiovisual Arts and Media Production” educational programme, musician, poet, and podcast creator.

Participants explored the creation of emotional visual images, learned how to distinguish facts from manipulation and disinformation, and were introduced to media professions of the future — ranging from interactive story directors to AR/VR and AI specialists. The role-playing format allowed attendees to try themselves in various roles within the media sphere in order to understand that contemporary art education combines creativity, technology, and critical thinking.

The event confirmed the relevance of art education as a space for fostering creativity, critical thinking and professional readiness to meet the challenges of the digital age.
