On June 3, 2026, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Graphics, Larysa CHAIKA, together with third-year students of the “Graphics” educational programme, Kseniia LYSENKO, Mariia YEFIMENKO, and Mariia PAKHOMOVA, conducted a creative workshop for pupils of Kharkiv Lyceum № 126.

The event was organised as part of the students’ pedagogical practice and within the activities of the KSADA Junior Academy of Design and Arts.

The workshop focused on the creative project “The Universe of My Name“, during which the children explored different ways of representing their own names through the art of graphics and decorative letter design.

The participants created original compositions, transforming individual letters into vivid artistic images. Through the use of colour, ornaments, symbols, and associative elements, the schoolchildren expressed their individuality and imagination.

During the workshop, the pupils learned the basics of graphic composition and developed imaginative thinking, creative skills, and the ability to work with visual associations.

The lively creative atmosphere, along with the children’s active participation and genuine interest, turned the session into an exciting artistic journey where each name became a source of inspiration and self-expression.

For the students of the Department of Graphics, conducting the workshop provided valuable experience in pedagogical practice, interaction with a young audience, and the implementation of contemporary artistic and educational approaches when working with future creative minds.
