We have some wonderful news! The Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts project “Faces of Light”, created by Arina BODROVA, Head of the Student Council, has won the “TYSIACHOVESNA” art competition in the category “Audiovisual Shows and Videos for Social Media”.

For KSADA, this is an important victory and a testament to the Academy’s creative potential, as well as its ability to create contemporary Ukrainian cultural content that responds to current social challenges and has the potential to be presented both in Ukraine and worldwide.

The “Faces of Light” project consists of a series of 10 short documentary essays, each up to 10 minutes in length. It tells the stories of ordinary people who, amid the war, undergo profound inner transformations and become symbols of resilience, humanity, and heroism.

“Faces of Light” serves not only an artistic purpose, but also an important social mission. Through personal stories, the project aims to foster an empathetic understanding of the Ukrainian wartime experience for both national and international audiences, contributing to cultural diplomacy, public reflection, and social cohesion.
