This lecture presents a special selection of projects and works by Smiljan Radić, Pritzker Architecture Prize laureate (2026).
Smiljan Radić is a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC). In 2012, he was awarded the “Golden Lion” at the Venice Biennale for an exhibition he curated. In 2001, Radić was named “Best Architect Under 35” by the College of Architects of Chile. His work has been featured in three issues of the renowned “El Croquis” magazine. In addition to his architectural practice, he is the founder and president of the Fragile Architecture Foundation.
His most notable works include House for the Poem of the Right Angle, The Winery at VIK, and the Bío-Bío Regional Theatre.
Speaker: Cristián Wittig — Chilean architect (Pontifical Catholic University of Chile) and urban planner (Architectural Association School of Architecture, London, UK). Alongside projects in Chile and around the world, he is currently involved in the reconstruction of four Ukrainian cities destroyed by the war (Irpin, Chernihiv, Kreminna and Borodianka).
