The Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts sincerely congratulates all Ukrainians on the Day of Unity of Ukraine.

The Unification Act of the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the West Ukrainian People’s Republic, proclaimed on January 22, 1919, at Sofiiska Square in Kyiv as a symbol of the unity of Ukrainian lands, became the foundation of modern Ukrainian statehood. This historic step demonstrated our people’s strong aspiration for freedom and independence. Since then, the tradition of unity has continued: the “Human Chain” from Kyiv to Lviv, initiated in 1990, has become an annual reminder of the power of togetherness.

Today, the idea of unity is embodied by our defenders on the frontline, who prove every day that Ukraine’s freedom and unity are inseparable.

As a community of artists and designers, we are convinced that culture and art have the power to unite hearts just as strongly as the lands of our state were once united.

We wish you peace, inspiration, unlimited energy, and confidence in your own strength!
