The ornaments of vyshyvankas carry profound meanings that are passed down from generation to generation through form, colour and rhythm.

The Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts congratulates everyone on Vyshyvanka Day — a celebration that affirms the importance of our heritage, its preservation and its contemporary reinterpretation. For the KSADA academic community, this day is not only an occasion to honour tradition, but also an opportunity to reflect upon it as a source of inspiration across visual arts, design, fashion, graphics, and architecture.
