PIE Internationalisation Community Meeting 2026
The Curriculum in Context
Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts announces an open call for contributions to the PIE Internationalisation Community Meeting 2026, which will take place on 3-5 June 2026 at the Vilnius Academy of Arts (Lithuania).
The event will be of particular interest to representatives of Ukrainian arts education institutions, especially those engaged in internationalisation, partnerships, and curriculum development.
This year’s theme (“The Curriculum in Context“) focuses on how internationalisation impacts both the formal and informal (“hidden”) curriculum in higher arts education. Key areas of exploration include:
A crucial part of this dialogue is the UAx community perspective. We invite contributions that explore how these processes are experienced by Ukrainian institutions in the context of war, and what ethical and equitable practices of cooperation in Europe can look like.
Support from UAx: The UAx Platform will fund the participation of 5 contributors selected by the PIE team. This support covers travel expenses and accommodation during the event.
Who Can Apply: Students, academic staff, programme leaders, deans, and directors — particularly those working with internationalisation, Erasmus+, curricula, and institutional strategies.
Contribution Formats: We invite submissions in the following formats:
Language: English
Submission Deadline: 6 February 2026
