The Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts extends its warmest congratulations on the Independence Day of Ukraine!

On August 24, 2026, we celebrate the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence. This day reminds us of the freedom fought for by generations of Ukrainians and defended today by our soldiers.

Independence has been achieved at the cost of the lives of those who fought for Ukraine’s right to determine its own future — from the liberation struggles of the past to the ongoing war against Russian aggression.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who protects our country so that children’s laughter can be heard in our cities, exhibitions and lectures can take place, and science and art can continue to develop even in challenging times. Freedom requires daily effort and is our shared responsibility.
