On April 25, 2026, the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts warmly welcomed prospective students. The shelter space was filled with young people eager to become part of our large creative family. Guests were introduced to the Academy’s educational programmes and shown diploma works and student projects, which demonstrated the talent and inspiration of KSADA students.
Addressing the youth, Rector Oleksandr SOBOLEV emphasised that arts education is not only about knowledge and skills, but also a foundation for the development of culture and society. The Academy has always been a centre of creativity and innovation, a place where world-changing ideas are born.
Vice-Rectors Maryna TOKAR and Vladyslav KUTATELADZE highlighted the wide range of opportunities available to students, from participation in international competitions and exhibitions to research activities and the implementation of innovative projects. Maksym SVYNARENKO, the Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, outlined the key aspects of the 2026 admission campaign.
A special highlight of the programme was the visit to the Academy’s studios, where guests could experience the living energy of art, talk with lecturers and students in a friendly atmosphere, and learn about the specifics of different educational programmes. A significant moment was the announcement of the results of the “Letter to an Artist” competition, while the Faculty of Audiovisual Arts and Media Technologies presented “The History of Sound” exhibition, which was met with genuine interest from visitors.
