“PODCAST AS MODERN MEDIA: FROM IDEA TO AUDIENCE IMPACT” WORKSHOP HELD AT KSADA

On April 14, 2026, a workshop titled “Podcast as Modern Media: From Idea to Audience Impact” took place. The event was organised by first-year Master’s students of the Department of Audiovisual Arts, who are also among the creators of the “Monday Morning” podcast.

During the workshop, participants discussed the relevance of podcasts in today’s media landscape, their role in shaping public opinion, and their popularity among young people. Special attention was given to the advantages of podcasts over other media formats, as well as their influence on culture and ways of thinking.

The session also covered the main types of podcasts and their specific features, defining the podcast as an effective tool for self-expression and professional development. Participants learned about the key stages of creating a podcast, ranging from the initial concept to its full implementation.

Furthermore, the workshop highlighted the important role of podcasts in students’ learning and self-development, opening new opportunities for the educational process. The meeting was held in an active discussion and idea-sharing format, which contributed to a deeper understanding of the topic and inspired participants to launch their own media projects.
