CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: ARTS EDUCATION FOR ALL COMMUNITY HUB (ELIA)

The Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts announces an open call for students to participate in the Arts Education for All Community Hub, an initiative by the ELIA network.

Two motivated students from ELIA member institutions, interested in the development of arts education, accessibility and educational policy within a European context are invited to apply.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Interest in arts education (studies, research, projects, or independent initiatives);
  • Experience or involvement in educational practices at various levels (mentoring, tutoring, educational programmes);
  • A combination of creative practice with teaching or learning;
  • Openness to interdisciplinary approaches and pedagogical experimentation;
  • Willingness to engage in international cooperation and represent the student voice.

Experience in advocacy, teaching, or leadership is an advantage but not a requirement. The main criteria are motivation, responsibility, and genuine interest.

  • Participation in European-level discussions on arts education as representatives of the student community;
  • International collaboration opportunities and work on relevant projects;
  • Experience in research, educational policy, and advocacy initiatives;

Financial Support:

Selected students will receive a scholarship covering travel and accommodation expenses for the annual in-person meetings of the working group.

Application Requirements:

An official letter of support from KSADA is required, which must:

  • Confirm the Academy’s approval of the student’s participation;
  • Recognise participation in the Community Hub as a valid reason for academic absence.
