On March 27, 2026, an educational and creative event for students of the Kharkiv Art Lyceum and the I. Repin Children’s Art School took place at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts.
Natalia POSTELGA, a methodologist of the “HudpromArt” Centre, guided the guests on a tour of the Academy’s art spaces. The participants learned about the history of art education in the Slobozhanshchyna region, explored the educational environment, and discovered opportunities available to future students.
The visitors showed particular interest in the current exhibition projects: the anniversary exposition of Antonina Anoricheva-Yeromka and the student graphic art exhibition “VAPLITE: A Glimpse Through the Century”, which demonstrated a wide range of contemporary artistic practices and a deep reflection on cultural heritage.
During the event, the participants also visited the etching workshop, where Senior Lecturer of the Department of Graphic Design, Vladyslav KHRYSTENKO, together with KSADA students, introduced them to the technique of etching and revealed the distinctive features of this complex and expressive form of graphic art.
The final stage of the event was a sculpture workshop, led by Vladyslav YUDIN from the Sculpture Section. Under his guidance, the children created their own clay compositions, trying their hand at being sculptors.
The visit provided a vital opportunity for young people to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of an academic art environment, gaining new knowledge and inspiration for their further creative development.
