On <\/span>May 27, 2026<\/b>, the <\/span>Conference of the Labour Collective<\/b> took place at the <\/span>Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts<\/b>. This event is an important component of the Academy\u2019s institutional life.<\/span><\/p>\n

In accordance with the Academy’s Regulations, the Conference was attended by ex-officio delegates, elected representatives from the Academy\u2019s structural units, and members of student self-government. The meeting was held in a hybrid (online and offline) format.<\/span><\/p>\n

A number of important issues were discussed, including the Academy\u2019s activities, working conditions, and the development of internal institutional policies. The delegates unanimously supported the proposed decisions and approved the documents submitted for consideration.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the key issues was the renewal of the Academic Council\u2019s membership for the current term. Rector <\/span>Oleksandr SOBOLIEV<\/b> presented the proposed changes to the composition of the Academic Council and emphasised the importance of the effective work of this collegial governing body within the modern development of the Academy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Conference also approved the Comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety Measures at KSADA. <\/span>Ivan BONDARCHUK<\/b>, Head of the Primary Trade Union Organisation, highlighted the importance of ensuring safe and appropriate working and learning conditions for all participants in the educational process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the delegates approved the List of Positions with Irregular Working Hours at KSADA, granting employees the right to additional paid leave in accordance with the Sectoral Agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, during the Conference, the Workplace Psychosocial Support Policy of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts was approved. The report on this matter was presented by <\/span>Maryna TOKAR<\/b>, First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. This document aims to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment at the Academy, fostering a culture of mutual respect and supporting the psychological well-being of staff and students.<\/span><\/p>\n

All decisions were adopted in full compliance with the current legislation of Ukraine and the Regulations on the Conference of the Labour Collective of KSADA.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Conference was held in a constructive and productive atmosphere. The adopted decisions will contribute to the further development of the Academy and the improvement of its educational and professional activities.<\/span><\/p>\n
