{"id":70902,"date":"2026-05-20T16:25:20","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T13:25:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ksada.org\/?p=70902"},"modified":"2026-05-27T11:54:45","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T08:54:45","slug":"v-akademi%d1%97-vidbulas-iii-mizhnarodna-naukovo-praktichna-konferencziya","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ksada.org\/en\/v-akademi%d1%97-vidbulas-iii-mizhnarodna-naukovo-praktichna-konferencziya\/","title":{"rendered":"III INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE HELD AT KSADA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>III International Scientific and Practical Conference<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>&#8220;Audiovisual Art and Media Technologies: Modern Trends and Development Prospects&#8221;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On <\/span><b>May 13-14, 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, on the occasion of <\/span><b>Ukraine\u2019s Science Day<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksada.org\/en\/fakultet-audiovizualnogo-mystecztva-ta-mediatehnologij\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Faculty of Audiovisual Arts and Media Technologies<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts successfully held the <\/span><b>III International Scientific and Practical Conference &#8220;Audiovisual Art and Media Technologies: Modern Trends and Development Prospects&#8221; <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in a hybrid (online and offline) format.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The primary objective<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the conference was to engage participants in discussions surrounding current theoretical and practical issues in <\/span><b>audiovisual arts and media technologies<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, while raising public awareness of the field.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The conference took place under the auspices of<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, the State Agency of Ukraine for Arts and Art Education, and the Eastern Regional Scientific and Art Centre of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine. It was <\/span><b>supported by the<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (Georgia), Vilnius Academy of Arts (Lithuania), LUCA School of Arts (Belgium), the International Committee of Thematic Screen Art Festivals CINETOUR, the online cinema platform &#8220;KinoButy&#8221; (&#8220;Cinever&#8221;), and the <\/span><b>media partner<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 &#8220;Nakypilo&#8221; Media Group.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event brought together over 70 scholars, filmmakers, and students from Ukraine and <\/span><b>10 countries<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including <\/span><b>Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Belgium, Italy, Georgia, Turkey, Portugal, Japan, and the USA<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The diverse line-up of participants featured university professors, film festival directors, Oscar and Emmy-winning creators, and representatives of CINETOUR.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the plenary opening session, participants were greeted by <\/span><b>Yevhen Lavro, Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who emphasised that despite the ongoing war, Kharkiv remains a resilient and powerful hub for scientific thought and creative innovation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Warm greetings were also delivered by <\/span><b>Emmy-winning director and actor Jaswant Shrestha<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (USA), who praised the unbreakable spirit of Kharkiv&#8217;s academic community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The keynote opening presentation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the conference focused on documentary cinema in times of historical challenges. It was delivered by prominent filmmaker <\/span><b>Iryna Pravylo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the I. K. Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television, who discussed her latest documentary &#8220;<\/span><b>Flowers Beyond the Dark<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;. This film, which intertwines three stories from the Kyiv region during the spring of 2022, was recently selected for the prestigious Carmel International Film Festival in California.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another major highlight of the conference was an exclusive <\/span><b>creative meeting with Oles Sanin, a renowned Ukrainian filmmaker, cultural figure, and Vice President of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. He shared professional behind-the-scenes insights into the cinematography, storyboarding, and music design of his historical film &#8220;<\/span><b>Dovbush<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;. He also discussed his long-standing creative connection to Kharkiv and the Academy, where parts of his earlier award-winning movie &#8220;<\/span><b>The Guide<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8221; were filmed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International educational cooperation was further highlighted through the <\/span><b>presentation of the joint artistic project &#8220;Instructions&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This unique cultural and academic exchange brought together students and lecturers from both <\/span><b>KSADA<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Sint Lucas Antwerpen<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Belgium.
