On <\/span>May 15, 2026<\/b>, the House of Artists, home to the Kharkiv branch of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, hosted the official opening ceremony of the representative office of the <\/span>Eastern Regional Scientific and Art Centre of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine <\/b>\u2014 an event of great significance for the cultural and academic development of the region.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oleksandr SOBOLIEV<\/b>, Rector of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts and Head of the Eastern Regional Scientific and Art Centre, <\/span>emphasised the leading role of the Academy and the unlimited potential of its staff.<\/b><\/p>\n

The event was further marked by the off-site session of the <\/span>Bureau of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine <\/b>in Kharkiv,<\/span> chaired by the President of NAA of Ukraine, Viktor SYDORENKO<\/b>. He highlighted the importance of establishing the Eastern Centre’s representative office as a <\/span>powerful hub for creative activity in the region.<\/b><\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by leading figures from the artistic and academic communities: Vice-President of the NAA of Ukraine <\/span>Oles SANIN<\/b>, Full Members of the NAA of Ukraine <\/span>Oleg VEKLENKO<\/b> and <\/span>Vasyl SHEIKO<\/b>, Honorary Academician <\/span>Viktor KOVTUN<\/b>, Corresponding Members of the NAA of Ukraine\u00a0 <\/span>Liudmyla SOKOLIUK<\/b> and <\/span>Volodymyr MYSLAVSKYI<\/b>, as well as <\/span>Vladyslav KUTATELADZE<\/b>, Scientific Secretary of the Eastern Regional Scientific and Art Centre; <\/span>Kostiantyn CHERNIAVSKYI<\/b>, Chairman of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine; <\/span>Ihor TULUZOV<\/b>, General Director and Artistic Director of the Kharkiv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Mykola Lysenko; <\/span>Maryna TOKAR<\/b>, First Vice-Rector of KSADA; <\/span>Nataliia HOVORUKHINA<\/b>, Rector of the Kharkiv I.P. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts; and <\/span>Oleksii ZHYTNYTSKYI<\/b>, General Director and Artistic Director of the Fred Yashynov Kharkiv State Circus.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the ceremony, Viktor SYDORENKO presented awards from the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine to prominent representatives of Kharkiv’s cultural and artistic community.<\/b><\/p>\n
