{"id":68410,"date":"2026-04-22T17:01:40","date_gmt":"2026-04-22T14:01:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ksada.org\/zaproshuyemo-na-vystavku\/"},"modified":"2026-05-11T11:06:15","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T08:06:15","slug":"zaproshuyemo-na-vystavku","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ksada.org\/en\/zaproshuyemo-na-vystavku\/","title":{"rendered":"INVITATION TO THE EXHIBITION"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are delighted to invite you to the exhibition <\/span><b>&#8220;THE LIGHT OF REVIVAL: Stained Glass Design for Restituted Synagogues of Ukraine&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by <\/span><b>Eugeny KOTLYAR<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Professor, <\/span><b>Head of the Department of Monumental Painting at KSADA<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The presentation of the exhibition will take place on <\/span><b>April 23, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Sholom-Aleichem Museum<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (a branch of the Museum of the History of Kyiv), located at <\/span><b>5 Velyka Vasylkivska St., Kyiv<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exhibition features sketches, design projects, photographs of works, and stained glass concepts developed between 1995 and 2005. This was the most dynamic period of the revival of Jewish religious life in Ukraine, alongside the restoration and reconstruction of historic synagogue buildings returned to their communities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exhibition was first presented in 2023 in New York at the Walsh Family Library at Fordham University. In the following year, it was<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ukrainianinstitute.org\/event\/stained-glass-kyiv-synagogues\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">shown at the Ukrainian Institute of America<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (New York, 2024).
