KHARKIV STATE ACADEMY OF DESIGN AND ARTS<\/b> presents the art project <\/span>“Po Kolu” <\/b>(“In a Circle”<\/i><\/b>)<\/b>. The exhibition features works from the methodological archives of the <\/span>Department of Graphics<\/b> and the <\/span>Department of Photography and Visual Practices<\/b>, alongside art pieces by students across various years of the <\/span>“Graphics”<\/b> and <\/span>“Photography and Visual Practices”<\/b> educational programmes. The exposition also includes works by faculty members: <\/span>Larysa CHAIKA<\/b>, <\/span>Bella LOGACHOVA<\/b>, and <\/span>Oleksandr PRYSIAZHNENKO<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This interdepartmental art project unites collective student practices across a diverse range of media: artbooks, photobooks, video art, sound art, and installations.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The philosophy of the circle is a multifaceted concept that symbolises wholeness, harmony, the cyclical nature of time and the idea of eternal return. It also encompasses the hermeneutic circle as a method of cognition, in which an understanding of the whole is formed through its parts, and thinking moves from foundations to facts and vice versa”, notes project co-curator <\/span>Bella LOGACHOVA<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The opening ceremony was inaugurated by the Rector of the Academy, <\/span>Oleksandr SOBOLEV<\/b>, who congratulated the participants on the realisation of such an engaging and diverse project, born from the fruitful collaboration between the two departments. First Vice-Rector <\/span>Maryna TOKAR<\/b> highlighted the multi-layered meanings behind the exhibition’s concept. Vice-Rector for Scientific Research <\/span>Vladyslav KUTATELADZE<\/b> congratulated the Department of Photography on its 10th anniversary and noted the high quality of the presented artworks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Receiving the project participation certificates from the Rector was an important and emotional moment, inspiring the young artists to keep moving forward.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition space brought together a wide audience, including students, lecturers, staff of the Academy, as well as friends and contemporary art enthusiasts. The art project “Po Kolu” invites everyone to engage, reflect, and immerse themselves in a continuous process of creative exploration, where each visitor has the opportunity to become part of a shared circle.<\/span><\/p>\n
