Ukrainian researchers have been granted access to the Research4Life content. According to recent information published on the portal, the platform provides access to over 200 000 resources, including journals, books, and databases.<\/p>\n

In support of Ukraine during wartime, leading international publishers such as Elsevier, Springer Nature, John Wiley & Sons, Taylor & Francis, Emerald, Sage Publications, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, IOP Publishing, and many others have opened access to their collections.<\/p>\n

The platform’s materials are grouped into the following collections:<\/p>\n

ARDI<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Access to Research for Development and Innovation (scientific and technical information).<\/p>\n

GOALI<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Global Online Access to Legal Information (specialised library in the field of law and social sciences, including political science, economics, philosophy, history, etc.).<\/p>\n

OARE<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Online Access to Research in the Environment (resources on ecology, geography, energy, etc.).<\/p>\n

AGORA<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture.<\/p>\n

Hinari<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Access to one of the world’s largest collections of biomedical and health literature.<\/p>\n

A significant amount of material on architecture, art history, and art therapy is also available.<\/p>\n

Scopus<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Scopus<\/strong> is the world\u2019s largest multidisciplinary abstract and citation database, serving as a core component of the integrated SciVerse research environment. The database is updated daily and contains bibliographic information on scientific publications without full text content (abstract-only). It covers over 18 000 academic journals in technical, medical, and humanitarian sciences from 5 000 international publishers. The database also indexes conference proceedings and book series. Scopus is developed and owned by the Elsevier publishing corporation.<\/p>\n

The Scopus ASJC classification system includes 27 main subject areas divided into 335 subcategories, with multidisciplinary articles often indexed across multiple fields simultaneously.<\/p>\n

By geographic coverage, Scopus is a global database: 47% of its indexed titles are published in Western Europe, 33% in North America, 9% in the Asia-Pacific region, 5% in Eastern Europe (including 37 Ukrainian academic journals), and 2% each in Australia & Oceania, Africa, and South America.<\/p>\n

Access to the Scopus is available from any computer within the KSADA local network.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Web of Science<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Web of Science<\/strong> platform is owned by Clarivate Analytics. Today, the platform includes 15 databases created by Clarivate Analytics and its partners. In total, it indexes over 33 000 publications across all disciplines, with coverage dating back to 1864<\/p>\n

The core component of the platform is the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), which consists of citation indexes for periodicals in natural and technical sciences \u2013 Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), social sciences \u2013 Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), and humanities \u2013 Arts and Humanities Citation Index (AHCI)<\/strong>. Since 2015, the WoSCC has been expanded with the multidisciplinary Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), extending coverage back to 2005.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Web of Science Core Collection includes the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) for top-tier conferences and the Book Citation Index (BkCI) for academic monographs.<\/p>\n
