"Молода мистецька наука України"			Pro-rector on scientific work The doctor of pedagogical sciences professor Yermakov Sergey Sidorovich   was born March, 8 1950 in village Ohoche, Novovodolazhsky area, the Kharkov region. He received and improved the education in the Tockmak mechanical technical school (1969), the Kharkov automobile-road institute (1977), the Kharkov state pedagogical institute (1981), postgraduate study of the State Central institute of physical training (Moscow, 1990). The candidate of sciences (1991), the doctor of pedagogical sciences (1997). He is the author more than 200 scientific works (from them 20 - in the co-authorship), including 3 copyright certificates, 3 monographies, 7 manuals. He is the chapter of expert council of VAK of Ukraine (2006-2008), member of scientific-coordination council of the Ministry of Ukraine in affairs of family, youth and sports, a member of the scientific-methodical commission of National federation of volleyball of Ukraine, a member of Presidium of Olympic academy of Ukraine (2002-2007), a member of the specialized academic council on protection of theses for a doctor's degree of the Kharkov national pedagogical university, the academician of the Ukrainian academy of sciences. He is the editor-in-chief of the following scientific editions: " PEDAGOGICS, PSYCHOLOGY, MEDICAL-BIOLOGICAL PROBLEMS OF PHYSICAL TRAINING AND SPORTS " и " PHYSICAL TRAINING OF STUDENTS OF CREATIVE SPECIALITIES ". He is the associate editor of the following scientific editions: " The Slobojansky scientific - sports bulletin ", " The theory and technique of physical training ", " The bulletin of the Chernigov state pedagogical university of a name of T.G.Shevchenko ", " The bulletin of the Kharkov state academy of design and arts ", " Actual problems of physical training and sports ", " Young sports science of Ukraine ", " The concept of development of sphere of physical training and sports in Ukraine ", " The theory and technique of physical training and sports ". He has the following awards: the honours pupil of education of Ukraine (2001), the winner of regional competition among higher educational institutions " Education of the Kharkov region - the best names " (2001) in a nomination " the Best managing faculty of physical training ", Medal of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine " For scientific achievements " (2006), the certificate of honour of the Kharkov mayor (2005), the certificate of honour of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2007), certificate of honour of VAC of Ukraine (2008)). The Kharkov regional state administration in 2008 has appointed to him the grant of a name of V.N.Karazin (on the humanities). Hobby - volleyball (the master of sports, 1975). He is the bronze prize-winner of championship of the USSR 1978 (" Locomotive ", Kharkov), the reusable champion and the prize-winner of championship of Ukraine, the owner of the Cup of Ukraine, the finalist of the Cup of the USSR (1973-1980). He is the participant of national and international competitions on volleyball among veterans (1990 and till now): the reusable champion and the prize-winner of the Cup of Ukraine, the AllUkrainian games, the World champion 2000 and 2004.
